Father’s Day Downtown Car Show
Want something fun to do with Dad on his special day? Head on down to Tilley Pond on Sunday, June 15, 2008 between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and check out vintage, exotic and all kinds of other classic cars at the DRI’s Car Show. Last year there were more then 60 cars displayed! But it’s not just cars: the festivities also include: FOOD CONCESSION, FREE BALLOONS W/TOY, MODEL CAR DISPLAY, CARICATURE ARTIST, and a GOFER ICE CREAM CART.

DRI invites all exotic, nostalgic, and vintage car owners to show off their awesome automobiles on Sunday, June 15, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the annual Father’s Day Car Show. Cars will be showcased on the lawn in Tilley Park, West Ave. Registration is free.
A ‘People’s Choice Award’ will be presented to the car owner whose vehicle receives the most votes from visitors. Last year’s show featured over 60 cars and the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette owned by Peter Rogers of Darien took home the award. It’s a great family day in downtown Darien!
