HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO EVERYONE.
Here is the perfect way to share Valentine’s Day with your spouse. PALMERS MARKET in the Noroton Heights shopping center has a wonderful bakery. Meghan, a member of the Palmer family, opened it after she graduated from culinary school as a baker. Everything is delicious but I particularly love their 4″ cakes.
This one is decorated for the upcoming special day but you can get them made just for you. They are $12.99. The little “Kiss Me” and “Be Mine” cakes are called Pig Pies. They are $3.99. They start out as sugar cookie, then they add marzipan, apricot jam and frosting….yummmm. But if you just want to be a bit simpler, the sugar cookies are 99 cents.
