Rock and Roll in Dowtown Darien Tonight!
Music will be in the air tonight as part of Darien’s Thursday night concert series: kicking it off will be Short Bus, performing a free concert from 6pm to 9pm at Grove Street Plaza, which is the little cobblestone square and fountain outside of The Melting Pot and La Gravenese Jewelers. This band has a major following, so expect it to be packed, but it should be TONS of fun on this cool summer night.
It’s also a great excuse to have dinner on the town followed a healthy Robeks smoothie dessert or creamy Gofer ice cream cone. Quick note: no alcohol/ open containers allowed at the concert.
And LADIES, conveniently located just half a block from the concert is the Megan Dey Photography studio (974 Post Road, above Wild Ginger), where a trunk show for Spotted Dog Jewelry will be taking place from 6pm to 10pm. So you can mix rock and roll with shopping for funky rocks, all in one night! Photographer Megan Dey will also be offering one-night-only specials, and with Father’s Day coming up, the timing is perfect, so don’t miss it!
