The Weekend SO BIG It’s Got A Name:Darien Days
The Good Times just keep rolling this summer in Darien: from free live music downtown on Thursdays, free Family movies at Weed Beach and movie nights at Tilley Pond to the Push-n-Pull Parade and Fair at Tilley Pond, Darien is definitely alive and kicking. And next week is no exception: in fact, there is SO much planned for Darien on July 9th, 10th and 11th that the whole event has been named “Darien Days.”
First, and after I write this I will be doing a little dance around my chair clapping my hands, we’ve got Darien SIDEWALK SALES: preview day (aka Early Bird Gets The Worm) is Thursday the 9th, and the sales officially move outside to the sidewalks on Friday, July 10th and Saturday July 11th. In addition to fabulous shopping, there is PLENTY going on to entertain the family, from live music to huge bouncy houses and slides: I’ll be following up with the specifics on locations, etc next week.
But there is also a CARNIVAL next Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, at Hindley School, that includes games, rides, mini golf, food, entertainment — and more! Click here for the flyer and all the details: darien_carnival
