Darien Tree Lighting Event Tonight

It’s time to officially kick off the holiday season in downtown Darien, with Santa making his first official appearance  in a fire truck, music, treats, and the lighting of the gigantic Christmas tree in the Darien Sport Shop parking lot!
Festivities will begin in Grove Street Plaza at 4:30pm with E.J. Couloucoundis, the DHS Tudor Singers, DAC dancing elves and more.  Then we will follow Santa’s fire truck to the big tree, where at 5pm the lights will go on and Santa’s lap will be open for gift consultations.  See you there!
