A Festival of Wreaths
Last night I had the opportunity to sneak preview the wreath-covered wonderland that has transformed the Darien Nature Center, and all I can say is WOW. Darien has soooo many amazingly creative and talented residents! Whether or not you can attend the fundraiser and silent auction tonight, try to get over to the Nature Center today between 9am and 2pm (it’s free, no membership required to view), just to browse and enjoy wreaths made with everything from Andes mints to feather boas and doggie chew toys, as well as a truly beautiful selection of classic holiday wreaths. If you have little ones, they can oogle over the live animals (bunnies, turtles, snakes, owls, etc) while you peruse. It’s a great way to bring a smile to everyone’s faces, including yours!
