What Is It?
The “Distinction Card” is a fundraiser – slash- rewards card offered by the Darien Chamber of Commerce, to continuously reward you for shopping, dining and doing business in Darien. Supporting our local businesses helps ensure that Darien remains a healthy and vibrant community, and the Distinction Card is a way for both you, the shopper, and the participating local businesses to work together to make that happen.
And, 50% of proceeds from the Distinction Card go towards the Darien Chamber Scholarship fund, so it is a community initiative where everyone wins.
How Does It Work?
All you need to do to redeem your rewards is present the Distinction Card at your time of purchase to a participating business!
The Sales & Specials section of AllAboutDarien.com will have an up-to-date list of all participating Darien businesses and their Distinction Card offers, which will be growing and changing each month. Information about participating businesses will also be available on the Darien Chamber of Commerce website, and an email will go out to Cardholders every 3-months with an updated brochure.
Rewards for each participating business will vary: some might offer something free with purchase, others a straight discount on total purchase, and others a discount on a specific item or service … There are a variety of ways to save with your Distinction Card.

What Does It Cost?
The Distinction card costs $25, and is valid for the remainder of this calendar year (you’ll find that no matter where you are in that calendar year you will EASILY make back the cost in savings). The Card Kit includes a credit card-sized plastic card and two key-chain cards to make it easy for everyone in the household to save.
