About This Site

Launched in the spring of 2007, AllAboutDarien.com served as a regularly-updated “good-to-know guide” for and about the Darien community until early 2012.

Created by Nicole Lyons, a current Darien resident who also grew up in town, the goal of AllAboutDarien.com has been to promote a vibrant local economy by offering insider perspectives and useful information to help residents, and visitors, make the most of their Darien experience.

Today, thanks to the entry of additional community websites focusing on Darien, Nicole is able to focus full-time on helping hyperlocal publishers across the country monetize their own websites by bringing them premium local advertising revenue through Local Yokel Media.

Whenever possible, this site will be leveraged to service the needs of the Darien community – especially in times of emergency.
