Summer Programs at Darien Library

We love, love, love the Darien Library year round, but we especially love it on those long summer days when the kids are sick of the sun, tired of the beach, and complaining that they’re bored.

The library has some fantastic drop in programs scheduled (no pre-registration required) including book groups, concerts, and story times. (We are big fans of “Stories by the Sea” at Weed Beach on Thursdays in July from 10-10:30 am.)

They also have some smaller classes and workshops organized around the theme of “Lights, Camera, Action.” These programs are age specific and are broken down for preschool, K-2, and 3-6.  All programs are FREE and admission is by lottery.*

Registration opens on Tuesday, May 26th (with notification about placement coming by June 13th).

*Programs are open to Darien residents, those employed full time in Darien, or non-residents who are contributors to the Darien Library Annual Campaign at the $300 level.

Show us some love -- give us a share!
