Thanks to a suggestion submitted by a reader of an earlier post I wrote about helpful Darien train station info, and also train station parking scoop, I am providing an interactive map and/or address information for Darien’s two train stations: Darien and Noroton Heights. The Noroton Heights Train Station is located at 325 Heights Road.  The nearest highway exit is Exit 10 on I-95. Darien, Noroton Heights Train Station Parking

 Here is some topline information about train station parking in Darien. Overall, there are 775 permit and voucher spaces at the Noroton Heights station and 544 spaces available for the Darien station (including municipal lots on Leroy and Grove). The Darien Train Station is on town-owned land and therefore Darien residency is required in order to receive a permit for that station.  The Noroton Heights train station is owned by Metro-North, and leased to Darien, so no residency limitations can be placed on permits for this lot. The waiting list for a monthly parking Permit is currently 5+ years.  To

DARIEN TRAIN STATION PARKING If you do not have a parking permit, you cannot park at the Noroton Heights station: you need to leave from the Darien station.  The Darien train station offers permit parking in addition to daily, weekly and monthly parking on a first-come first-served basis: cash only. The waitlist for a permit at the Darien Train Station is upwards fo 7 years, and you can get an application at the ticket window or by calling the Department of Public Works (203) 656-7346.
