 Who’s Driving?

State and local police will be out in full force this weekend performing scheduled and random DYI checkpoints. We thought it might be handy for you to program the number for Darien Taxi into your phone, for easy dialing of a ride home (in case you need one!) 203-655-2266.

Or, you can register with Uber and get your first ride, free! Uber is a convenient taxi-on-demand service with lots of registered drivers in the area. Payment for your trip – and tip – is calculated and paid automatically via your registered credit card, and features like driver ratings and GPS real-time route-tracking are built right into the app to ensure accountability on all fronts. Register through this link to claim your free ride, and use it any time you need a designated driver.
