I created this website because, although I grew up in Darien, when I recently moved back here I found that I had a lot of questions about living here and no singular resource online that I could turn to for answers.
So, as a childhood resident, current homeowner and new mother in Darien with a career in online marketing and passion for our community, I decided to start the ball rolling by creating an online resource that serves as both an aggregator of information and community-building platform, to help people like myself make better use of all that Darien has to offer.
Now that we’re up and running, I invite us all to use the site to make the most of living, working, shopping, playing and being neighborly in Darien by chipping in our two cents wherever we can.
Post your specialized skill or service for FREE in the Retail & Services Register (piano teachers, party planners, etc), or add your knowledge of the topic to a blog post (know of other bathroom-friendly retail spots in town?), make connections and learn about all the things you never knew that you never knew by asking and answering questions in the Ask & Answer forum, or just jump in wherever and whenever you’ve got something constructive to offer.
