Meet The Candidates for Town Election

If you’re new to town, or perhaps feeling a little less in-the-know than you’d like to be about who is running for town government positions including Selectmen and Planning & Zoning, the Darien League of Women Voters is hosting a “Candidates Night” on Tuesday, October 20th, at the Town Hall Auditorium at 7pm. Candidates will all present their cases to the community, and there will be an opportunity for Q&A.

For information on how to register to vote, click here.

 A Request for Toddler Supplies

The Darien nonprofit, The Tiny Miracles Foundation (TTMF), can use some help assisting a family in need. TTMF provided financial assistance to this family when the premature baby was in the NICU in 2013. Now, after 29 months in hospitals and rehab facilities, this “tiny miracle” is finally going home. TTMF is holding a special emergency drive to collect specific supplies: diapers – size 5 or 6, wipes, boy clothing – size 3T or 4T, sheets for a twin size bed

TTMF will coordinate delivery of all items to the family. If you are able to help, please contact Jennifer Johnson at 203-202-9714 or jenniferjohnson@ttmf.org to arrange for pick-up or delivery. THANK YOU!
