Your Input Requested Re: Weed Beach Expansion

Do you want to play corn hole or volley ball at Weed Beach? Think we could use paddle board and kayak rentals and storage or a seasonal pool? Darien Parks & Recreation is inviting all Darien residents to complete a 5-minute survey to help guide their plans for expansion of Weed Beach into an adjacent lot the town purchased last year. There will be public follow up meetings on Nov 10th and Jan 26th at 6:30pm (at the Town Hall) to review proposals and provide feedback on plans.

To add your input, complete the online survey here.

 Conference Week Around the Corner

All public elementary schools in Darien have early dismissal December 1st-4th for Parent Teacher Conferences. We’ll be pulling together some ideas for keeping the kids occupied after school that week, but you might want to jump on the afterschool camps being offered by Overtime Athletics on site at Hindley, Ox Ridge, and Tokeneke.
