Your Input Requested Re: Sidewalks & Safety

Do you ever wish there were sidewalks or more lighting in your neighborhood, on your walk to the train or where your kids play? Have you wondered why there’s not an intersection/ or pedestrian signage at a nearby intersection? Do you think speeding through residential neighborhoods is a problem in your area?

Here’s your chance to let the Darien Pedestrian Infrastructure Advisory Committee know as they prepare recommendations for the town. Please take this 6 question online survey to make sure your interests are represented.

Your Input Requested Re: Weed Beach Expansion

Do you want to play corn hole or volley ball at Weed Beach? Think we could use paddle board and kayak rentals and storage or a seasonal pool? Darien Parks & Recreation is inviting all Darien residents to complete a 5-minute survey to help guide their plans for expansion of Weed Beach into an adjacent lot the town purchased last year. There will be public follow up meetings on Nov 10th and Jan 26th at 6:30pm (at the Town Hall) to review proposals and provide feedback on plans.

To add your input, complete the online survey here.
